Introduction

First, let me say CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement and upcoming wedding!
Hopefully you are still having fun and are not stressed out yet! It's easy to get stressed, especially when you have a vision of your wedding that just doesn't match the size of your budget.
That's how I felt...
I was scouring wedding websites, books, and magazines just hoping that one of them would hold the secret to pulling off a classy, elegant wedding without going into debt. Even though a 'budget' wedding in most magazines start at the very low price of $10,000, that was not something my husband and I were able to do.
Having two chlidren, a house, and a pretty tight day-to-day budget it, it was very hard to squeeze out even the $2000 to put toward our wedding. We did it but it was a challenge.
We didn't want to go into debt just to show our love, but because we had been together for over 7 years and had two children we wanted it to be touching, classy, and elegant.

In this blog I am hoping to show you the pictures that inspired me, as well as real pictures from my wedding. Hopefully this blog will inspire you to take your wedding into your own hands and make it yours, don't just listen to all the wedding websites telling you that you're a horrible bride if you do not have 9 bridesmaids and a chocolate fountain or something.
It is your day, your memories, you (and your groom) are the one(s) that matter!
